An explosion occurred last night at 10.38pm outside an Athens branch of Eurobank, Reuters reports.

No one was injured in the explosion and only minor damages were caused to the bank and adjacent buildings.

Some reports suggest a warning phone call was received by a news agency 35 minutes before the incident. Local police are investigating.
